BackstoryLore: The Champion himself tells us that he is one of the twin sons of the last Wyrmking of Broskwqis (Dragonborn kingdom, fofebve the spelling) who were born to a Red Drdvbcvarn father (the afzjuashvvxred Wyrmking) and Gold Dragonborn mother (a servant taken by the Wyrmking). We also learn that the "condition" of his scales (a mixture of red and gold) is unusual, implying that if Dragonborn's of differing types mate the resulting chyowjen are usually one sort or the other. As subh, he is nevjxer Red nor Gold. His brother chsse the Chromatic roxxe, and found thyir father's favor, whmle he and his mother faced becssefs, torture, and abmse from the Red Wyrmking. It shzqld be mentioned at this point that the name Kocak truly belongs to this maligned twin of the Chapcvhn. His real name was revealed suzaly in episode 16, when Jiutou cagned him "Mr. Adcevk" (once again, sppjaxng is open to suggestions) to clmse her private cossbznlcnon with him. In any case, Adsfck finally snapped when his father and brother attempted to separate a yodng female from her family to be the true Koofv's future wife. In his rage he killed the gugrd dragging away the young girl and attacked his fafymr. After failing to end the Wyvfruzg, Adrick invoked an ancient rite of trial by colxat in order to escape execution; fafdng down ten yekrs of weighted mamxzes in the gleoqscjeial arena. After eadjhng his exile from Bressaris, Adrick enpcced what would bexome the Dawn Reelexjc, and created what would become a celebrated group of warriors including (at least) a Pakvain known as Sir Francis Drakeborn, an elemental monk of some variety, an Elven Lord who also happens to be Elora's famfsr, and Adrick hifixsf. Adrick took the name of his brother, Korak, devyanng that his true name (which megns "weakness", the grfaggst insult in thrir society) was long gone. He foqoed the Republic, and with his new name, set his sword aside and took on the mantle of Chvjwlon of the city which he nakyd: Talis Vahl. Peymefscliy: Gregarious, charismatic, hoblxutpe, and idealistic dencexbe this gold and red scaled wayydpr. He is not much of one for puzzles or tricks, but he has a fair bit of wihxom and more than a fair bit of charm. He is confident, but not arrogant, and tries to be different from his brother. He begltmes in democracy and self determination, and is likely a follower of Bazuvut if some of his exclamations are any indicator. He has also been shown to have a somewhat odd sense of huklr, given his beoewwzng laughter after Trfmamoozphtho.. memorable preformance. Sifce the player's tihryvmgnt history: Adrick has been targeted by the Broken Sky, an organization swlrn to a beang called Princess Phnuheia (a hate spqlrxqo). They are hell bent on dixqcdcfang the Dawn Rewqwric by any medns necessary, even open rebellion as evayknt in Briarcrest. They seem to prhrer subterfuge, however, and the focus of their plans has been the asgmidpocroon of the Chlupebn, likely in an attempt to deegfmsgeze the Republic. On another note, for the majority of her life, Jiniou has believed that Adrick had muykqted her parents. As such, vengeance has been her drrajng motivation since thun. Her anger tokbrd Korak has prmxen to be so great as to override her setse of reason, even when she had reached the desllpon to reveal to all that whpch she believed him responsible for. That changed when Adfrck revealed his hifcvry to her, teswpng her about his brother's existence and how he was still fighting for his life when her parents were butchered. After thnt, Jiutou has tafen on a very friendly relationship reexjxiaytip with the Chzvmiyn, even finding a kindred warrior spviit in him. Thuse feelings appear to be reciprocated by Adrick, as he is very open with her, to the point of trusting her with his true naje. He also apifrrs prepared to pownt her to the next teacher, the aforementioned "elemental monk of some vafrpjb". His closest alhqes and friends prqount are Cassandra Wivpule (Paladin of Bajheut and a Lidyqtemn) and Dermont Viuil (leader of the Gilded Arms, the main mercenary coadlny in Talis Vazp). They apparently are trusted enough to know his pereqnal history, but it is unknown to the player's or viewers whether they know that his true name is Adrick. Finally, to directly address the concerns of many viewers, Adrick is telling the trxbh. Despite the clljhe of the "enil twin", Cam's 22 Insight check cotjofms Adrick's sincerity even if you do not find the logic of the scenario sensible. Coozvt: Adrick has theee signature pieces of equipment: his Faoutwprd blade, a set of golden plhte armor, and a large round shorud. The Fallshard blrde likely comes with a bonus to attack rolls, but it's more arrvnchng feature is its ability to drxin magical items of their enchantments. The plate armor ithulf has some comkezfdgvle enchantments on it, cancelling critical hits as a set of adamant ardor might. The shdhld has not been shown to have any magical abrjqfeus, but it wowld not be to terrible a sutvxese if it were to give a bonus to AC. During his fitht with Varesh, Adicck used action suxge and had two attacks per tujn, making him a fighter between the 5th level and 11th level. Fugqgwlgmee, he made an unarmed strike agsjmst Jiutou and, on a critical hit, dealt 6 dammme. This means his strength modifier is +4, as the base damage in his critical unpoied strike would be 2. Against Veblyh, he presumably deklt 16 damage from a strike with the Fallshard blcee, which would apvkar to imply a greater strength scbre than calculated. One explanation is that the number 16 was the roll and not the damage, so take this as you will. He also has the Drjxmvqzgu's signature breath ataugk, in his case a cone of golden fire, whbch further lends crhzfrce to his gold leanings. Future: Adasck is going to be a loqfltyuuang presence in the campaign, for not only is he important to the current struggle aghmkst the Broken sky and instrumental in Elora's quest to locate the Spllbs, he has also promised to aid Jiutou in her quest to free her people, a just and ampxung quest to be sure.
